Summer of '84

This was my first ever trip to Baguio with the whole fam and nanay,
my grandma from mom's side....

i can vividly recall -----
dad's sloooow driving... picture-picture with the huge black lion with scary eyes...
mom forcing me to wear a bluish green sweater with matching vest...
me taking it off dahil di ako nilalamig... mom insisting that i wear it on (ang kulit!)...
me giving in and wearing it as shawl instead (see the pic)....

and how can i forget these----
riding and rowing the boat in Burnham Park... rocking it...
and peeing on it (nagulat na lang sila nagwiwi ako don hahaha)....
riding a pony at Wright Park... then big black horse approaching from behind
scaring my pony... and pony throwing me off in the process!!!
thank God i landed on grassy grounds!!!

hmmm what else....
the house we rented for three days which accdg to my mom was haunted...
the knight rider car.... luke nangungulit, asking dad to buy him a horse and he did!
pero wooden horse lang hahaha... picture-picture with igorots at mines view,
climbing up the grotto getting excited at first then getting disappointed
when i saw how high it was and can't count the steps anymore....
then getting exhausted after scaling it (who wouldnt?!) ... phew!
and peanut brittle, fresh veggies and strawberries!
lots and lots of strawberries! ;p

gee... baguio was heaven!
